The Fossil Q Control is built for the active

When Fossil jumped into the smartwatch space, it still maintained all the style and class it could on its range of Android smartwatches, also retaining the same prestige from its traditional time pieces. Now Fossil has launched another smart wearable, but with a very simple design and built for sporty people.

The Fossil Control is the latest addition to the company’s current line of smartwatches. It features a 45mm case with a circular touch display without the infamous flat tire design. What makes it different from the other Fossil smartwatches is that it sports a heart rate sensor, which will come in handy for workout and sports activities, for more accurate measurements.

As it is meant for sports, the Fossil Control is also swim proof unlike the rest, up to 50 meters of water resistance. With the extra heart rate sensor, Fossil still promises a day’s battery life for the Fossil Control. It sports a physical button on the right side of the case, but also comes with a virtual touch bezel which will make it easier to scroll on the Android Wear 2.0 interface.

The Fossil Q Control has gone on sale in the US with a price tag of $275 (RM 1,149.56). The smartwatch should make its way to Malaysian shore by early 2018.
