Fortnite is now available for all Android devices

Not too long ago, Fortnite debuted exclusively on the Galaxy Note 9 to demonstrate the phone’s gaming power, however you now no longer need to own a Note 9 in order to play Fortnite, as developer Epic Games has announced that the game is officially available to everyone with a compatible phone.

If you can’t find it on Google Play, don’t fret as the game requires a separate installer which you will have to download separately from Epic Game’s website. Like PUBG Mobile, Fortnite is still very much in its beta phase so do expect some issues when you game on it. Epic Games has also posted a compatibility list over here, which lists mostly high end flagship Androids as its recommended device, if you have an older Android device it would need to have at least 3GB of RAM and be using an Adreno 530, Mali-G71 MP20 or G72 MP12 GPU, it also recommends that your device run at least Android 8.0 for optimal performance.

Epic Games has certainly kept its promise well back when it released Fortnite exclusively on the Galaxy Note 9, and the best thing about Fortnite would be cross platform compatibility, where you can have your game profile synced to other platforms.
