Fitbit’s first tracker with Fitbit Pay, the Fitbit Charge 3

Fitbit is back with Fitbit Charge 3, their most advanced fitness tracker with more functions.

The Fitbit Charge 3 is a fitness tracker that can track your health and heart rate with the 24/7 heart rate function that tracks your calorie burn, optimises your workouts and uncovers your health trends. It also has real-time heart rate zones and all-day calorie burn function that tracks how many calories you burn throughout your day to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Furthermore, the Fitbit Charge 3 has tracking functions such as sleep tracking and female health tracking. Basically, it analyses your sleep pattern and also works as a period calendar. There is also the Fitbit app dashboard that allows you to set goals, find inspiration and access all your health and fitness information.

For those who workout often, the Fitbit Charge 3 has SmartTrack that automatically recognise the type of exercise with real-time pace and distance. You also get reminders to move and guided breathing sessions to better manage your mental health, and this device is water resistant up to 50m, so it is wearable even when you’re swimming or showering.

Apart from that, the Fitbit Charge 3 has calendar and weather apps in addition to the notification and quick replies feature, though the quick replies feature will only be available to Android users. In terms of notifications, you can get calls, texts and also smartphone app alerts. The tracker also supports Fitbit Pay that allow cashless payments, but do note that the Fitbit Pay is only available on the special editions of the Fitbit Charge 3.

The tracker has up to 7 days battery, and is durable and lightweight due to the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There are 2 colours for the normal edition and 2 colours for the special edition. The Fitbit Charge 3 is now available at the price of €149.95, and the special edition is available for pre-order at €169.95, which ships later in November.
