Fitbit launches three new wearables: Fitbit Versa Lite, Fitbit Inspire and Fitbit Inspire HR

To accommodate different individuals with different needs, Fitbit is launching three new wearables today.

One of the new Fitbits that is introduced today is a lite version of the Fitbit Versa that was launched in April 2018, the Fitbit Versa Lite. According to Fitbit’s Regional Director Louis Lye, the Fitbit Versa Lite was created for young adults who are more price conscious.

However, the Fitbit Versa Lite still comes with many features that can be found on the original Fitbit Versa; it has an on-device dashboard, motivation and reminders, guided breathing sessions and also sleep stages tracking. Users can also set different goal-based exercise modes and the Fitbit Versa Lite also supports 24/7 HR tracking. In terms of what it lacks compared to the Versa, Versa Lite doesn’t come with on-screen workouts, storage for music files, swim lap counts and floors climbed. That being said, the Fitbit Versa Lite has around 4 days of battery life.

Apart from that, Fitbit also introduced two new fitness trackers for those who aren’t interested in a fitness smartwatch. The Fitbit Inspire and Inspire HR are fitness trackers that comes with touchscreens, and like the Versa Lite, it also has on-device dashboard and is swim proof. Both wearables have activity and sleep tracking, up to 5 days of battery and are also swim-proof.

Additionally, the Inspire HR has the additional heart rate tracking that supports features like the Cardio Fitness Level, sleep stages tracking and also guided breathing.

The Fitbit Versa Lite is priced at RM768 and comes in five different colours – Charcoal Silver, Lilac Silver, White Silver, Marina Blue and Mulberry. For those who are more interested in fitness trackers, the Fitbit Inspire will cost RM348 while the Fitbit Inspire HR will cost RM468.

On a side note, Fitbit also announced that a fitness tracker catered to children will be coming soon. Called the Fitbit Ace 2, it comes with up to 5 days of battery life, a touch screen and can be connected to the family account for parents to monitor their children’s progress.
