Fitbit Charge 5: Leaked renders reveal a design refresh

Renders of the upcoming Fitbit Charge 5 has been leaked — the fitness tracker will be sporting a different design unlike its predecessors.

Fitbit Charge 5 will be the first of its series to sport the new design

The Fitbit Charge fitness trackers have always featured sharp edges with a typical watch-like strap but the Fitbit Charge 5 takes on a new design with a rounded display and a dual-clasp strap.

The renders also hints that the fitness tracker will still come with a capacitive touch control system — this is indicated by the shiny surfaces on the sides of the wearable. There’s also a chance that the Charge 5 will finally ditch the monochrome display and start including colourful graphics.

According to leaker Evan Blass, the Charge 5 will be available in three colours — charcoal black, blue-grey and cream. However, that is all the information that is revealed thus far.
