The latest addition to Fitbit’s devices is here — the Fitbit Charge 4. Despite sporting a similar design with its predecessor, the Charge 4 now comes with built-in GPS.

The Fitbit Charge 4 is the first Fitbit tracker with built-in GPS, meaning you no longer have to depend on your phone when it comes to tracking distance as you run, walk or cycle. Fitbit also added GPS-enabled exercise modes so you can track your exercise when you go hiking and etc.

Alongside the new fitness tracker, Fitbit also launched a new feature called Active Zone Minutes. This allows user to get their own personalised heart rate zones so that they can adjust accordingly to get the perfect workout. There are also daily and weekly goals for you to achieve, making this feature a motivating factor in your workouts. Users will also get access to a summary of their heart rate zones after they’ve completed their workouts.

Since us Malaysians are supposedly stuck at home during this MCO period, Fitbit also added a free 90-day trial for those who’d like to try out their Premium subscription plan that comes with a wider set of tools and software that can help them learn more about their health. There’s no better time than now to try out the Premium plan since we’re constantly at home anyways.

The Fitbit Charge 4 can be purchased at the price of RM698 and is available in three colours: black, rosewood and storm blue/black. You can get it at IT Hypermart, City Chain, Flash Gadget, Harvey Norman, Timekeeper and Thundermatch at the end of this month. There’s also a special edition that will set you back RM798, but it has an exclusive granite reflective/black woven band.
