The first official camera sample of the OnePlus 5 is out

The OnePlus 5 is set to make its appearance very soon as the company gears up for its 2017 flagship smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer has done away with the “Flagship Killer” moniker with the OnePlus 3 after two years, but it looks like OnePlus devices are gradually living up to that infamous title.

OnePlus has recently begun giving hints and teasers of the upcoming OnePlus 5. A blog post on OnePlus Forums by CEO Pete Lau confirms rumors that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Now the company has posted a camera sample of the phone on its official Twitter account, revealing to us what the OnePlus 5 camera is capable of.

The above image was uploaded onto Twitter just yesterday, consisting of samples taken by 2 smartphones, captioned, “Can you tell which photo was taken with the OnePlus 5?” If it isn’t obvious enough, OnePlus is boasting the lowlight capabilities of the OnePlus 5’s camera, considering that the left side of the image is significantly noisier than the one on the right.

Impressed? However you should note that this is just one camera sample taken by the OnePlus 5. In fact, it is the first ever official camera sample of the device, if you discount the leaked camera samples that emerged online recently. What do you think?
