Final Fantasy XV is supposed to be available at the end of September. However, it seems that the game may be delayed to the end of November instead.
First reported by Gamnesia, it appears that promotional material for Final Fantasy XV has arrived in U.S. video games chain store GameStop last week. Included in the material is an instruction that requests GameStop staff to place a sticker covering the September 30th release with one that has a November 29th date on it.
While Square Enix has yet to officially announce anything concerning a delay in Final Fantasy XV, the photo pretty much confirms that Square Enix’s latest title will be receiving an additional two-month delay. With rumours floating around that Final Fantasy XV is in need of some polish from a technical perspective, the delay would allow the game developers to add in some needed polish before the game becomes available.
Besides, it’s been 10 years since Final Fantasy XV, previously known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, was announced. Surely two months isn’t too long of a wait.
