Two weeks ago, Xiaomi has teased that it will be launching a new product that “pushes the boundaries of innovation” at its CES debut in 2017. With less than a month left before CES commences, Taiwanese company ASUS has announced a press event set to take place during CES as well, known as Zennovation. Should we be having high hopes for more Zen worthy products by ASUS come next month?
Alongside the Zennovation teaser is a statement by ASUS asking to experience its ” latest innovations that will expand your vision and stretch the imagination”. That certainly sounds like something that leans more towards the virtual reality side of things. Either that or ASUS could be implying on a new handset, considering the fact that it showcased the camera centric ZenFone Zoom. Who knows? ASUS might be gearing up for a ZenFone Zoom successor.
Some speculations indicate a possible Snapdragon 835 powered ZenFone to be unveiled at CES 2017. If that happens to be the case, then it is something worth keeping an eye on in January. On the other hand, the ZenFone 3 series was just launched back in May and released in August, so a ZenFone 4 appearance seems highly unlikely.
