Exchange your old smartphone for the latest Huawei Mate 8 with its trade-in programme

If you think it is about time to change your smartphone, then check out this latest trade-in programme offered by Huawei. From 8 April till 30 June 2016, Huawei is offering you a chance to trade in your ratty old smartphone (or cranky ones) for the Huawei Mate 8.

So, are you eligible for this programme? As long as you own a device from one of the major smartphone brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC and Lenovo, you can just head to any Huawei outlets and do the trade-in or enquire which models and the value of your smartphone.

Your phone also has to meet certain basic criterias of course, such as:

  • Device is able to power on and off
  • IMEI number is accessible
  • Device must be unlocked
  • Display screen is functional and not cracked
  • No major damaged to the device or missing buttons (i.e.: water/LCD damaged, camera lenses cracked, battery bloated, corrosion)

The value of your old phone will be based on the evaluation of the respective Huawei staff at the trade-up counter. Upon validation, you just need top-up the difference in price, if there is any, and take home your new Huawei Mate 8 on the spot.

On top of this trade-in programme, you will actually be getting the Mate 8 at a cheaper price, as Huawei is offering a RM100 rebate from the listed value of the standard variant (with terms and conditions of course). For a complete list of stores and the terms and conditions of this programme, head on to fb.com/HuaweiMobileMY.
