EA games will now be available on Steam after a long hiatus – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order now available for pre-order

What seemed impossible for so long, has now become a reality – EA and Valve are joining hands to bring EA games to Steam once again.

The collab will see titles such as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Apex Legends, The Sims 4, FIFA 20 and more to be attainable on Valve’s distributing platform.

You may remember a time when EA released their games on Steam – even now you’d still be able to find games like Mirror’s Edge, Mass Effect 2, The Sims 3 and more on the platform. It wasn’t until EA pushed their own distributing brand Origin, that the company started pulling out of Steam.

With that said, now that EA is back on the menu for Steam users, it is unsure if booting up a game will redirect you to Origin – something that Ubisoft and Rock Star does with their own respective platforms.

In any case, it’s cause for celebration for PC gamers – EA has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available for pre-order now ahead of its launch this November 15.
