DOOGEE S88 Pro enters the market: Rugged style with a monstrous 10,000mAh battery

When we talk about smartphones with a huge battery, we usually think of 5,000mAh batteries or even the 6,000mAh battery in the ROG Phone 2, but this tech company has recently launched a smartphone with 10,000mAh battery called the DOOGEE S88 Pro.

S88 Pro: 10,000mAh battery

DOOGEE is definitely one of the lesser-known smartphone brands, but with a battery that matches the capacity of a power bank, the new S88 Pro is an interesting phone. DOOGEE claims that the phone can last from 7 to 8 days on normal usage and just like a power bank, you can use the S88 Pro to reverse charge other devices as it supports 5W reverse wireless charging. It also comes with 10W fast charging.

Rugged design

The S88 Pro has a rugged design and that’s because it is quite tough. It has an IP68 rating and is drop-proof up to 1.5m. It also went through brick pressure and sand immersion tests, in addition to getting the MILD-STD-810G certification. DOOGEE also included a software pack for adventurous individuals that includes apps like sound meter, gradient, height measure, plumb bob and more.

Display and buttons

The 6.3-inch phone also features Corning Gorilla Glass and a waterdrop notch on its FHD display. It has a side fingerprint sensor alongside the volume buttons and power key and on the other side, it has two extra key that has customizable functions.

Internals and camera

The S88 Pro is powered by a Mediatek P70 processor and comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP portrait camera, while on the front, it has a 16MP camera.

Pricing and availability

The DOOGEE S88 Pro is available in three colours — Army Green, Fire Orange and Mineral Black. It can be pre-ordered at $199.99 (RM855) from DOOGEE online store and also AliExpress and the first 100 purchase will be entitled to a free C3 wireless charger.
