Dolby Atmos support is coming to selected content on Netflix

The video streaming provider has just announced that they are bringing Dolby Atmos to selected titles in their catalogue. This audio technology delivers captivating sound that places and moves audio anywhere in the room and overhead, allowing you to hear the sounds of birds flying overhead or bullets from an action movie whizzing pass you. Having this dimension of audio all around will truly enhance the watching experience. Currently, Netflix is offering the format on selected content that includes:

Dolby Atmos is currently supported on the Xbox One, Xbox One S and 2017 LG OLED TVs with the support on these LG TVs coming soon. As for the Xbox, you can enjoy this experience by simply connecting the console to Dolby Atmos enabled home theatre system, TV, soundbar or via headphones using the new Dolby Atmos for headphones feature purchasable from the Dolby Access app in the Xbox Store.
