DJI Unveils the DJI Neo: A Compact Drone for Vloggers and Everyday Users

DJI has officially introduced its latest drone, the DJI Neo, a compact and lightweight drone designed for vloggers and casual users. Weighing just 139g, the palm-sized drone is engineered for ease of use, featuring the ability to take off and land directly from your hand.

The DJI Neo is equipped with a protective cover to reduce the risk of accidental injuries during handling. It also boasts level 4 wind resistance, making it durable in windy conditions. The drone’s camera is built with a 1/2-inch sensor, capable of capturing 12MP photos and recording 4K videos at 30 frames per second. It also comes with 22GB of internal storage for saving your photos and videos.

For control, users can operate the DJI Neo solely with a smartphone, a convenient option for those who prefer not to invest in the Fly More Combo, which includes a remote controller. Additionally, the drone supports the DJI Mic 2, allowing users to record audio alongside their videos.

In terms of performance, the DJI Neo can fly for up to 18 minutes on a single charge, reach altitudes of up to 2,000 meters, and maintain control from as far as 5 kilometers away. Its safety features include automatic return-to-home functionality, ensuring it safely navigates back to its take-off point when necessary.

In Malaysia, the DJI Neo is priced at RM869 for the standalone unit. For those interested in additional accessories, the Fly More Combo is available for RM1,529, which includes a remote controller, three extra batteries, a charging dock, two replacement propellers, a data cable, and a gimbal protector.

You can purchase the DJI Neo from Shopee.
