Digi introduces new broadband plans with streaming quota

As Digi continues to promote streaming on its network, the telco has now extended this benefit to its broadband plans, which starts from an affordable fee of RM30/month with up to 50GB of all-day data and 10GB of on-demand streaming quota, the allocated streaming quota can be used on up to over 40 popular audio and video streaming services without using up the base quota, which is certainly beneficial to those who doesn’t have access to a fixed line broadband and wants to stream without worrying about using up their quota.

Three packages are avaialble for sign up and only two of the higher priced plans are offered in postpaid, the base Broadband 30 plan already offers free unlimited streaming data for 19 services, which includes YouTube and major local radio stations, however should you require the additional data for streaming other services such as Spotify and Netflix, you could always purchase an addon 10GB of streaming data for RM20, other value added top ups include RM5/month for unlimited usage of WhatsApp and Viber, and RM25 for 10GB of all data usage. On top of that, Digi is giving away two months of complimentary iFlix access and 30 days of Astro On-The-Go trial subscription, which is rather decent. Lastly, existing Digi Postpaid customers will get to have RM10 off their broadband bill for life.
