Dell unveils the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 and Inspiron 15 7000 that comes equipped with 8th Gen Intel Core processors

Today, Dell Malaysia held a celebration on the launch of their revamped Dell Exclusive Store in Lowyat. The launch was also accompanied by the introduction of the new Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 series that is powered by the 8th Generation Intel Core processors and an announcement that the acclaimed XPS 13 laptops will be getting the 8th Gen upgrade as well.

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1

This 2-in-1 device is designed for the mobile multi-tasker in mined and will be available in Era Gray brushed aluminium, making it look sleek and provides a good performance. The screen is an FHD IPS screen which supports touch inputs and a digital pen for drawing, writing and note-taking. The laptop also comes with SmartByte which can detect the type of application that is running and if it’s a streaming service, it prioritise that service over the others by redirecting bandwidth to it.

Under the hood, you will be getting the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processors, DDR4 memory and a range of I/O ports like the USB Type-C with support for DisplayPort Power Delivery. Storage options are also good as you will have the option of using SSDs or PCIe NVMs SSDs.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000

For those of you that prefer the tradition clamshell laptops, the Inspiron 15 7000 is the perfect companion for you. It comes with an FHD IPS display with an addition of UHD option that covers 100% AdobeRGB. The laptop will also be equipped with the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processors and biometric login which will use Windows Hello. Similar to the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1, it will have a range of storage options including PCIe NVMe SSD. There are two options for colour on the Inspiron 15, Platinum Silver or Pink Champaign.

Dell has also updated the Inspiron 13 2-in-1 laptops with the 8th Gen Intel processors and DDR4 memory. In addition to that, the Dell XPS 13 has also been updated to the 8th Generation processors making it 44% more powerful compared to the previous generation of the XPS 13. The Inspiron 15 7000, Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 and Inspiron 13 5000 2-in-1 will cost RM4,449, RM 5,449 and RM3,599 respectively. The upgraded XPS 13 will be available in October.
