Dell shows off a complete Alienware desktop gaming experience

Not only did Dell release a new Inspiron laptop with Max-Q design, they also have something in store for those of you that would like a sit at home on your comfy gaming chair and play away on a desktop. The company has introduced the new Alienware Aurora Desktop, a curved gaming monitor and a keyboard and mouse to complete your full Alienware desktop environment.

Alienware Aurora Desktop

The desktop comes with an 8th Generation Intel Core processor and dual-graphics card setup all in a mid-tower case that will be able to tackle games like Forza Motorsports 7 and Superhot in VR. It also features a customisable AlienFX lighting, premium materials such as anodised aluminium, magnesium alloy and steel reinforcement.

Alienware Monitors 

 

 

They featured two monitors, a 34-inch curved gaming monitor and a 25-inch gaming monitor with the first coming with either a WQHD or WFHD resolution and features AlienFX lighting and ultrathin bezels that gives an added immersion. It is also integrated with NVIDIA G-Sync for a smoother gaming experience.

As for the 25-inch monitor, it comes with either G-Sync or AMD FreeSync and offers fast 1ms responsive gameplay with virtually no input lag and native 240Hz refresh rate, making it perfect for any gamer.

Keyboards

 

Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard comes with an optional palm rest giving comfort for games that go through long gaming sessions. It also has a dedicated volume roller and 13 zone-based RGB AlienFX backlit options and the onboard memory allows users to save keystroke combinations.

Alienware Advance Gaming Keyboard offers gamers the power of brown mechanical keys for more precise inputs and five keys dedicated for macro commands giving gamers an added advantage. In addition to that, Alienware Control Center allows gamers the ability to configure all keys to the desired commands.

Mice

 

Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse offers gamers customizability with swappable grips, 13 programmable buttons perfect for MMOs and four variable levels of weight adjustment providing ultimate control

Alienware Advance Gaming mouse fuses ergonomic design for increased comfort and intelligent software by offering multiple configurations with a DPI switcher between precision and speed style gameplay. It also comes with nine unique buttons for in-game customisations.
