Dali introduces the Callisto speakers and the Dali Sound Hub, catered to Hi-Fi users

Dali, who is a Danish audio manufacturer has just introduced their new Callisto tower speakers that combines the sound signature of the old with modern advancements in wireless audio technology, eliminating the need for wires.

The Callisto 6C is a tower speaker that comes with dual woofers and an expansive cabinet that offers great sonic width and depth which results in a detailed three-dimensional soundstage even in large rooms. It features an RCA input for volume-controlled line level input, allowing you to connect an audio device directly if need. It also comes with hybrid tweeter which has a soft diaphragm to allow some base through, filling up the high base frequency that the subwoofer is unable to produce. Specs wise it has a frequency of 37 – 30,000Hz, sensitivity of 110dB, and amplifier power of 250 watts. For those of you that cant accommodates tower speakers can opt for the Callisto 2C which are a smaller form factor of the Callisto 6C that will fit perfectly on any surface or can be used for a desktop computer’s sound system. It comes with the same hybrid tweeter as well as specs, other than its amplifier power of 40 – 200 watts and sensitivity of 108dB.

Dali Sound Hub

The Callisto, as mentioned before, can be connected to a separate audio device via the RCA cable. However, for the full Dali sound experience, the speakers can be connected to the Dali Sound Hub and all its convenience that it brings. Thanks to its low-latancy30-bit protocol, it allows the Sound Hub to transfer hi-res audio signal to each Callisto speakers without any interferences or loss of quality. There is also a Bluetooth remote that comes iwth the Sound Hub, allowing you to tuck away the Sound Hub and using the remote control from anywhere in your living space. Keeping up with the latest technology and trends, it supports Bluetooth connectivity, it supports Apt-X HD and ACC formate for Apple users. The Dali Sound Hub is also designed to be future-proof, thanks to its two expansion bays. The first expansion module that Dali released is the BluOS, allowing the Sound Hub to connect to other wireless speakers while still utilising the features and advancements that the Dali Sound Hub offers.

Both the Dali Callisto and Sound Hub will start shipping to Malaysia in the middle of August and users will be able to purchase it by the end of August. Price will be revealed at a later date.
