Clicks Keyboard for iPhone launches in Malaysia from RM669

UK tech startup Clicks Technology has made its stop at Malaysia to debut the Clicks Keyboard, a keyboard case made for iPhone, which aims to offer a productive typing experience with its tactile key, lightweight body and offering more screen estate for iPhone users.

The company’s vision on the product is led by an experienced team of people from the tech industry, combined with input from two of its co-founders Michael Fisher aka Mr Mobile and Kevin Michaluk aka Crackberry Kevin that are renowned tech creators, the company believes that it has made the best keyboard case that will transform the way people work on iPhones.

As iOS already has a library of built-in shortcuts that work well with physical keyboard, the Clicks Keyboard works on it without additional software, it simply attaches simply to your iPhone’s Lightning or USB-C connector and is detected as a wired keyboard, the case supports passthrough charging but wired CarPlay can only be used on cases with a Lightning connector.

Aside from typing physically, Clicks Keyboard allows users to create shortcut keys to launch an app and run an automation from the Shortcuts app, Clicks says that the keyboard sips very little battery from your iPhone even with backlighting on, which we’ll have to find out when we get our review unit.

What Clicks has really worked on is to make the case extremely lightweight so that users won’t find it too heavy to put it in their pockets, the keyboard button mechanism has also been thoroughly thought out with a relatively good 0.2mm key travel that gives it a similar typing experience as Blackberry devices, the back of the keyboard area also features a leather surface that gives it a good grip while resting your fingers.

Clicks Keyboard for iPhone is exclusively distributed by Swap Asia in Malaysia, it is available for iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max and all iPhone 15 series, it costs RM669 for 6.1-inch iPhone models and RM769 for the Pro Max models, you can pre-order yours here.
