Check out the E-Ink rear display of the Yotaphone 3

The Yotaphone isn’t your conventional smartphone. Its features might seem gimmicky at best but the Russian brand definitely has a fan base of its own by now, as it looks to launch the third iteration of the Yotaphone later this year. With rumors beginning to circulate, we have gotten our hands on some leaked renders of the Yota 3’s rear E-Ink display.

The image above show the Yota 3’s displays in action. It is likely that the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the front below the display, embedded in the home button. The rear E-Ink display, although not surprising, looks a tad refined now, covering a larger part of the rear panel compared to predecessors. The rear display also comes with on screen navigation keys, and measures at 5.2-inches.

The front facing regular display is likely to be of 5.5-inches in Full HD resolution. Other rumored specs include a Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The dual screen smartphone is also tipped to feature a 12MP rear camera and a 13MP selfie camera. The Yota 3 will likely pack a 3,200mAh battery.

The Yota 3 is slated for an unveiling later this year. The launch of the phone will end the company’s near four year absence in the smartphone industry.
