CES 2019: ASUS ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti comes with Infinity Loop cooling system

ASUS has revealed its new flagship ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card and this graphics card comes with a unique cooling system which ASUS calls Infinity Loop.

The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti includes 4352 NVIDIA CUDA cores and comes with 11GB GDDR6 memory. Its Infinity Loop is a AIO (All-in-One) closed-loop cooling system that is claimed to be able to match the performance of 240mm radiators in keeping the Turing GPU and GDDR6 memory cool. It has three axial-tech fans and supports the 0dB technology, which is why when the card is running below 55°C it will operate passively and more quietly.

This system is then integrated into the card’s 3-slot footprint that goes through binning process so that each Matrix card can accommodate to high boost core clock speed of 1815Mhz while it pushes the memory to GDDR6-14800MHz. The total graphics power of the graphics card is rated 300W, which is higher than the RTX 2080 Ti Founder Edition graphic card that came with 260W.

The ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti comes with a laser-etched design on the front with LEDs running through the accents, and the RGB lighting can be adjusted with Aura Sync RGB software. On its back, the backplate shows a ROG Eye logo that is also laser-etched and illuminated by LEDs.

The graphics card also comes with two HDMI 2.0b, two DisplayPort1.4, one USB Type-C VirtualLink video output and supports two 8-pin PCIe power inputs.

The price of the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics card is still unknown, but reports suggest that it’ll cost over $1600 which is RM6,588 when converted.
