Celcom has announced today that they will be offering the Apple Watch Series 5 this December 13 and will open pre-orders this December 6.
After Digi launched their AirSim offerings for the Apple Watch, enabling you to use LTE connections on the device, one has to wonder if Celcom would do the same after announcing the smartwatch.
For the uninitiated, Digi’s AirSim is a number-sharing feature that lets you use your Apple Watch to take phone calls, connect to the internet, stream music and send messages even without your iPhone near you.
This works only if you have an eSIM on your iPhone, and in Digi’s case, you’ll also need a postpaid plan worth RM80 a month to be eligible for the feature.
If Celcom offers their own version of number share service, we’ll likely see a list of similar requirements too. If you’d like to get yourself an Apple Smartwatch via Celcom, visit their website here.
