Celcom officially launches the FIRST Platinum plan

You’ve seen the FIRST Blue, and the FIRST Gold plans. Now, Celcom is introducing yet another postpaid plan, but this time, it’s aimed at customers who want more out of their telco plans.

Called the FIRST Platinum plan, this all-new limited time only postpaid plan is catered to the premium segment of customers with a higher appetite for internet usage. At RM150 per month, users will be able to enjoy 18GB of data quota, unlimited calls and SMS to all networks, and up to 9GB of carry-forward internet.

Data and talk time aren’t the only pluses of the FIRST Platinum as subscribers to the plan comes with a host of privileges such as a Priority Customer Service line and their own preferred phone number. Subscribers would also receive a one-year iflix subscription, unlimited secure messaging via Zipit Chat, and unlimited Yonder Music.

For those who are frequent travellers, the FIRST Platinum plan would also give you access to Celcom’s Wonderoam service where you can roam anywhere in the world for just RM38 per day or RM138 per week. To sweeten the deal even further, the first 1,000 subscribers to the FIRST Platinum plan will also receive a one-time exclusive access to Malaysia Airlines’ Golden Lounge in KLIA, when flying domestic or international.

Celcom has also mentioned that they will be rolling out MultiSIM for FIRST Gold and Platinum customers. While Celcom remain tight-lipped as to when exactly MultiSIM will be available, they’ve promised that it will be coming very soon.

Rounding up the FIRST Platinum launch, Celcom will be holding a campaign called “Keep Calm and Win a Perodua Axia.” Held from 15th April to 15th July, Celcom will be giving away a six Perodua Axias every two weeks together with three daily prizes to welcome onboard new customers who sign on to either FIRST Gold or FIRST Platinum plans.

Aside from postpaid plans, Celcom has also taken the opportunity to launch the Celcom Home Broadband service. Currently available only in the Klang Valley area, this new fixed fibre broadband service will offer up to 10Mbps Internet speed with unlimited quota and will cost RM145 a month. Those who are currently subscribed to either FIRST Gold or Platinum plans will receive a 50% discount on their Celcom Home Broadband bill for the first six month of their subscription. While the speed offering may be comparitively slow, Celcom has promised that they will be offering plans with higher speed in the future.
