Celcom announces free replacements for modems and routers that were damaged by the flood

Several companies have announced flood relief programs like OPPO and Samsung to try and assist those that suffered damages. Now Celcom has announced they will be doing free repairs and replacements of modems and routers for those that were affected by the floods.

Currently, only existing Celcom Home Fibre customers are eligible for replacement, as long as you have been affected by the flood and your device is damaged or lost. This program will be available starting from today until 31st January 2022. But do note that it doesn’t come with a contract extension and if you are still eligible even if your devices are out of warranty.

Additionally, many Celcom sites were disabled due to the power outages and are still in the process of being repaired. However, since yesterday they have successfully restored networks in Ijok, Shah Alam, Port Klang, Banting, Jerantut, Mentakab, Bera, Kuala Selangor, Kuala Langat, and Bukit Changgang.
