Celcom customers get additional special relief to cope with current COVID-19 situation

When the COVID-19 situation worsened in Malaysia, Celcom offered several rebates and cashback. Now, Celcom continues to help customers cope with the current situation by offering additional special relief to all Celcom customers.

From March 19 to March 31, all postpaid and Xpax prepaid customers will get free unlimited access to WhatsApp and Microsoft Office 365 applications from 8am to 6pm. Those who purchase the Celcom Xpax Ultra Hour pass for RM2 will also get 6 hours of unlimited internet access instead of 3 hours — from 8am to 6pm daily.

Being aware of the MCO/RMO situation, the telco company also extended the payment period for all postpaid customers for another 7 days from their current due date. This will hopefully help those who are affected by unpaid leaves and insufficient funds. Apart from that, Celcom is giving cashback to its Xpax and MEGA users.

As the government has advised everyone to practice social distancing to lower the risk of being infected, Celcom also offers online services to help customers with their needs. Those who’d like to pay their bills and manage their accounts can opt for the Celcom Life App or its online customer service, while those who want to purchase products can opt for Celcom Online Shop. If you’d like to purchase Prepaid reloads or change your SIM cards, you can also do so via Celcom Self-Serve Kiosk. Last but not least, you can always contact Celcom Facebook and Twitter, or even its careline for customer support.

Celcom also decided to provide free unlimited calls and access to all MOH services, just in case their customers need to contact the MCO hotline, the CPRC (Crisis Preparedness Response Center) hotline or keep themselves up to date via the MOH website.
