If you do a lot of outdoor photography, Casio Malaysia has launched its EXILIM FR-100 outdoor compact camera, as the successor to last year’s FR-10, it now sports an ultra wide angle 16mm f/2.8 lens that takes up to 12-megapixel stills and 1080p videos at 30 fps.
Featuring a rugged body like its predecessor, the FR-100 retains a detachable design that enables users to attach the camera module to a wide variety of aftermarket accessories, there’s also a controller that lets you operate the camera and a 3-inch 921k dot touch display helps capture footage in unique angles, The FR-100 also has Casio’s EXILIM HS3 engine that senses the camera’s movements and analyzes images when taking burst shots and enables the camera to capture fast moving shots while ensuring the best shots are being captured. Last but not the least, the camera has a built in highlight movie function that automatically create video montages of photos and videos taken with it, and users can transfer media via Bluetooth or WiFi to smartphones to be shared to social media.
The Casio EXILIM FR-100 is available in colors of yellow, white and black, it is bundled with a Carabineer Clip Attachment, Tripod Nut, Advance Selfile Stick and Action Camera Adapter for a retail price of RM2149, Casio Malaysia is also offering 18 months of warranty for the camera and other accessories for the FR-100 are priced as below:
