Breaking: Sony Xperia XZ Pro to Feature 18:9 Display

Since Sony has been struggling to make a mark in the smartphone scene in recent years, the Xperia XZ Pro may just up the game for them, especially when it’s been rumoured to have an 18:9 display too.

This new information was spotted through a filing on HTML Benchmark. There is a display resolution that is listed as 424 x 848, which would be very highly unlikely that it will be the actual resolution of the display. But the numbers reflect a 2:1 ratio, hinting the possibility of the 18:9 ratio display.

There have been reports suggesting that the phone will be featuring a Snapdragon 845 processor, a 5.7-inch 4K OLED display, and a dual camera setup for the main camera array.

It seems certain that the Xperia XZ Pro will be making waves at the MWC this year, so we will definitely keep an eye out for that.
