Boost’s new features called BoostUP, CashUp and UnionPay QR offer bigger rewards and higher cashbacks

Boost has introduced three new features called BoostUP, CashUp and UnionPay QR — offering a more seamless cashless experience while greatly rewarding its users.

While Boost’s Shake Rewards has been a well-loved feature among its users, the company has decided to upgrade it to BoostUP from November 1 onwards. BoostUP will takeover as the reward programme that will let users earn coins and Shake rewards, but this time BoostUP will offer greater rewards including a romantic getaway at Pangkor Laut Resort, the latest iPhone 11 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10, or even a Mediterranean cruise. You can either shake to get extra coins and cashbacks or use your coins to redeem prizes. Boost also has a tier system for the new reward programme so that users get more rewards as they advance to a higher tier.

On the other hand, CashUp is created for online shoppers who love to shop online locally or internationally with brands like AirAsia, Shopee, JD Sports, Sephora and more. With this feature, users can earn up to 13.5% cashback and also track the cash back earned via the CashUp page in the app. This feature will start from the second week of November.

Last but not least, Boost has brought its game to the next level by launching the UnionPay QR payment service. Boost will begin the service with about 125,000 merchants nationwide and will expand up to 11 miilion merchants across 31 countries in the future. Users can use the service to shop with UPI merchants any airport in Malaysia, and if a minimum of RM300 is spent, there will be an instant cash back of RM30. From November up till the end of December 2019, users will also earn a RM3 cash back when they activate the UnionPay QR payment service.
