Black Shark is kick starting the year with the Black Shark 4 Pro gaming phone, which is a little overdue considering it is almost a year that the Black Shark 4 has launched, but nonetheless, this is still one powerful gaming phone that has a few things to satisfy mobile gamers.
Powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC, the phone comes with the same sandwich liquid cooling system found on its non-Pro sibling that offers improved and sustained gaming performance, it is available in storage configurations of 8GB RAM+128GB Storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage.
Similar to the regular Black Shark 4, the Black Shark 4 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display that features 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate, there’s also a pair of pop-up magnetic gaming triggers that can be used to map shortcuts to apps and function in games.
The Black Shark 4 Pro features a triple camera array that looks similar to the non-Pro, but the main lens captures photos at a higher 64MP resolution, while the ultrawide and macro lens remain the same at 8MP and 5MP respectively, the main camera will also capture 4K videos at 60 fps, which will suffice for most gamers.
With a 4500mAh battery, the Black Shark 4 Pro should deliver a full day of juice when used moderately and can charge up in no-time with the included 120W Hyper Charging charger, which Black Shark claims will only take 5 minutes to reach 50% battery level.
The Black Shark 4 is available in color options of Shadow Black, Misty Grey and Cosmos Black, preorders will start 25th January 2022 onwards and the phone retails at RM2,599 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage model and RM2,999 for the 12GB RAM+256GB storage model, it can be purchased at Black Shark’s Official Shopee Store.
