BenQ introduces the W1700 home cinema projector with 4K and HDR10 support

BenQ is bringing a cinema experience to your home with the introduction of the CineHome W1700 4K UHD HDR home cinema projector, which is equipped with 4K HDR technology, 8.3 million pixels, CinematicColor accuracy and projection-optimised HDR for a true-to-life image quality.

The projector uses a 0.47-inch single-DMD DLP technology which allows to further minimise the projector’s already sleek profile for the modern home and 4K optimized optical system for image precision and colour accuracy without artifacts. Image quality is further enhanced with HDR10 support which offers greater brightness and contrast range with auto image optimisation.

With the exclusive BenQ CinematicColor technology and RGBRGB colour wheel, this helps to preserve cinematic colours and covers 96% of the Rec. 709 colour gamut with precise Delta E<3 performance. To give you the added cinema immersion, the CinimaMaster Video+ and CinemaMaster Audio+ will offer users motion-adaptive edge pixel enhancement, sophisticated colour algorithms and beautiful flesh tone rendition as well as dramatic audio processing for resonant bass and soaring high tones.

The W1700 is also easy to setup and comes with auto keystone correction and powerful 1.2X big zoom to accommodate any space. You can also connect HDMI dongles like Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire TV Stick, allowing you to watch all your favourite TV series, movies and even video games.

The BenQ W1700 4K UHD Home Cinema projector will be available in January 2018 with a retail price of RM7,999 at all authorized dealers.
