BenQ introduces the TK800 DLP projector in time for the FIFA World Cup

BenQ has just announced a new 4K projector in time for the FIFA World Cup. It is designed to deliver breathtaking picture quality, custom-tailored audiovisual modes and easy startup flexibility.

The BenQ TK800 offers true 4K UHD resolution with 8.3 million distinct pixels to produce lifelike realism using projector-optimised HDR to enhance brightness and contrast range with a one-step image optimisation and automatic HDR natural colour rendition. The project’s unique 4K colour wheel achieves 92% of the Rec.709 colour gamut and 3000-lumen brightness for great picture quality even in environments with bright ambient lighting.

To make your FIFA viewing event better, the TK800 offers a dedicated Football and Sports audiovisual mode to deliver a viewing experience as if you are part of the spectators. Football mode preserves natural skin tones, intensifies the colours of the grass on the pitch and enhances the clarity of the announcer’s commentary over the sounds of the cheering crowd.

The projector also comes with CinimaMaster Audio+ 2 sound system that has been upgraded to offer a wider frequency range and 5-watt power. This thanks to BenQ using materials like an aluminium driver diaphragm and resonant sound chambers for delicate details, pure vocals and resounding bass.

BenQ’s TK800 DLP projector is now available for purchase in Malaysia with a price of RM5,599 at BenQ’s Official Lazada store.
