It seems like ASUS is taking the MWC 2018 stage very seriously this round, as a new device with the code name of Z01RD has appeared in the Antutu Benchmark database sporting a list of specs, which includes a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and a rather unusual but impressive 2246×1080 resolution display, while we believe the 32GB ROM (built-in storage) could be a misinformation supplied by the app, as it definitely doesn’t make sense for a flagship device. Not too surprising either, the ZenFone 5z could also come with a notch like the iPhone X.
ASUS is expected to unveil at least three ZenFone 5 models in MWC 2018, which the other two devices would be the ZenFone 5 Max and ZenFone 5 Lite, and we shall expect them to come equipped with a mid-range and lower end Snapdragon processor respectively, along with great photography capabilities and long battery life. Stay tuned on 28 February 2018 2.30am Malaysian Time as ASUS will be live streaming its #backto5 event.
