The ASUS ZenFone 4 series is slated to be unveiled real soon, with ASUS intending to launch its latest offering of smartphones a little over a week from now on August the 19th. Prior to the ZenFone 4’s launch, we have received some news about the pricing of all four variants of the handset.
Yes, ASUS will be releasing a total of 4 variants for the ZenFone 4, according to fellow tech news site Mdroid. The folks at Mdroid cited sources from local Taiwanese media, in regards to the info of the ASUS ZenFone 4 series. The 4 variants of the ZenFone 4 will be the regular variant, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Max and ZenFone 4 Pro. One thing to note is that the ZenFone 4 will come in two processor variants as well, likely to vary based on region. Here are the leaked prices of the ZenFone 4 series:
- ZenFone 4 Max (Snapdragon 425): 5,990 TWD (RM 850)
- ZenFone 4 Selfie (Snapdragon 625): 9,990 TWD (RM 1415)
- ZenFone 4 (Snapdragon 630): 8,990 TWD (RM 1270)
- ZenFone 4 (Snapdragon 660): 10,990 TWD (RM 1560)
- ZenFone 4 Pro (Snapdragon 835): 18,990 TWD (RM 2690)
All variants of the ZenFone 4 seem reasonably priced, with the highest end ZenFone Pro costing as much as the OnePlus 5 in terms of ringgit. We can’t be certain as to whether or not all variants will be available in Malaysia, but it is highly likely that we will only be receiving either model of the regular ASUS ZenFone 4.
