When you thought the PC Master Race couldn’t get stronger, Nvidia enters the chat with the world’s first 360Hz gaming monitor. If you think this is unnecessary, try flick-scoping someone who’s using this while you’re on your 144Hz monitor, pleb.
I kid of course – but the ASUS ROG Swift 360 (that’s what the monitor is called) does have a purpose. Besides giving you bragging rights, it’s built with e-sports in mind. ASUS and Nvidia expects the best of the best in the competitive gaming industry to benefit the most from the Swift 360.
And benefit they will – the 24.5-inch 1080p display outputs frames every 2.8 milliseconds. It also supports G-Sync, because Nvidia – but this time it’s a 360Hz G-Sync, not your regular one. So users can expect a response time of below 3ms even with the feature enabled.
The ROG Swift 360 monitor is said to be available later this year, however, the official pricing has not been disclosed yet.
