Asus ROG Phone will launch on 22 October in Malaysia, price is estimated to be RM3,199

Back in Computex 2018, Asus stole the entire show with their new laptops and other consumer devices. The one device that stood out the most was their Asus ROG Phone which is a fully pimped out gaming phone that came with a modified version of a Snapdragon processor. Its been a while since we heard anything about it, but it looks like it will be coming to Malaysia in just a few weeks.

The phone comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor that was specially made to offer clock speeds of 2.96GHz, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB or 512GB of internal storage and 6-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90hz. Camera wise, it comes with a dual 12MP sensor and an 8MP sensor on the front. The phone supports a wide range of accessories like the Mobile Desktop Dock, TwinView Dock, Professional Dock, Asus WiGig Dock, GameVice controller and the AeroActive Cooler. However, the phone will only come with the AeroActive Cooler in the box which will keep the phone cool by clipping it to the back of the phone that has vents to directly cool the internals.

Asus Malaysia will be launching the phone on 22nd October and the phone is expected to retail around RM3199, it might be slightly more or slightly less than the expected price so stay tuned as we will be covering the launch event.
