ASUS ROG Phone 5 to launch with 18GB of RAM

The ASUS ROG Phone 5 that is launching on March 10 will come with 18GB of RAM, but it won’t be the only storage configuration available.

ROG Phone 5 will come in two different designs

GSMArena reported that there will be two versions of the ROG Phone 5 based on a Geekbench test — the I005DB will have a LED-backlit design as reported previously, whereas the I005DA model will come with a Tencent Games logo instead. This also means that the 18GB model will be exclusively available on the ROG Phone 5 that has an LED design, whereas the Tencent-variant may sport up to 16GB of RAM.

Apart from the Snapdragon 888 chip, you should be expecting a 64MP triple rear camera, a 32MP futon camera and a 6,000mAh battery paired with 65W fast charging. The ROG Phone 5 will still get a headphone jack and will no doubt also feature AirTrigger.

One week left before launch

The ROG Phone 5 will be launching globally on March 10, but we will also find out its local pricing and availability on the day itself.
