ASUS introduces Perfect Warranty for laptops with reduced accidental repair costs

Accidents happen to laptops when you least expect it to, which leads ASUS Malaysia to introduce the ASUS Perfect Warranty to consumer and gaming laptop customers who made their purchases from 1st January 2020 – Yes, it is entirely free of charge.

Customers who purchase ASUS consumer and gaming laptops are already eligible to a 2-year global warranty, the ASUS Perfect Warranty complements it by offering additional peace of mind during the first year of ownership with 80% of reduced accidental repair costs, this covers accidental breakage, electrical surge, spill or drop damage.

Ultimately, customers are only required to pay 20% of the repair costs and can only be utilized one time during the first year.

To give an example, should a customer’s laptop requires a new motherboard that costs RM500, ASUS will cover 80% of the cost which is equivalent to RM400, the customer will only be required to pay RM100 excluding labor fees or additional cables.
