ASUS Malaysia launches three new OLED laptops: Starts from RM4,999

Earlier today, ASUS launched six new OLED laptops to add to their OLED series, which sets the bar high for the next generation of laptops. We previously covered the that was launched as well, so let’s see what the new Zenbook 14X OLED, Zenbook 14 Flip OLED, and ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED have to offer.

ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED

The first laptop that ASUS Malaysia unveiled was the ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED, which is their most powerful laptop of all the laptops showcased. It comes with a superb 16-inch 4K OLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate and DisplayHDR True Black 500 to give users the best viewing experience. This display also has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and has 550nits peak brightness, which makes this a great laptop for any creatives who need the best display.

In terms of hardware, this laptop uses an Intel Core i7-11800H Processor and GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, that comes with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD, all of which is being powered by a 90Wh battery, so this laptop would be perfect for anyone who can utilize the power it outputs.

Another great feature for a content creation workflow is the ASUS dial that was added that allows you to work easily on Adobe programs, so if you want to expand your timeline on Premiere Pro, or change your brush size on Photoshop, it would be an incredibly useful tool.

The Zenbook 14 Flip OLED is the only convertible laptop that was showcased, and it sports an incredible14-inch 4K OLED touchscreen display that has a 90Hz refresh rate, which also comes with DisplayHDR True Black 500, peaking at 550nits of brightness. It also comes with stylus support, which would be great for digital artists and graphic designers.

The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7-1165G7 Processor and Intel Iris Xe Graphics, which comes with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD, also you can also expect a decent battery life with the 63Wh battery on this laptop.

The Vivobook 14X OLED is the most affordable option of the three laptops and it is only the only one with a ScreenPad. The display on the laptop comes with a 14.0-inch, 2.8K OLED 16:10 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate that peaks at 550nits of brightness. This laptop also has a stylus support for those who need it and the aforementioned ScreenPad which is great for productivity.

The base model is powered by an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe SSD. The more premium version will have an Intel Core  i7-1165G7 Processor and comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GV of PCIe SSD.

The base model of the will start at RM4,999, while the more premium version will retail at RM5,999.
