ASUS launches Vivobook 16 (M1605) in Malaysia from RM2,599

Today, ASUS introduced the Vivobook 16 (M1605) laptop to the Malaysian audience. This addition to their product line is sleek yet robust, suitable for both professional tasks and leisure activities.

With dimensions of 14.12 x 9.82 x 0.78 inches, the ASUS Vivobook 16 is a lightweight device, weighing just 1.88kg. It may be slender, but it doesn’t compromise on resilience, holding the US MIL-STD-810H durability certification. The 16-inch IPS LED display is a visual treat, featuring a WUXGA (1920 x 1200 px) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and a brightness level of 300 nits. Moreover, it also prioritizes users’ well-being, earning a TÜV Rheinland certification for reduced blue light emission.

In terms of interface, the laptop sports an ASUS ErgoSense full-size keyboard and an array of ports including USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 with power delivery, HDMI, and more. Advanced wireless features like WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are integrated, along with additional components such as a Dirac-enhanced audio system and a webcam privacy shield.

Internally, the Vivobook 16 offers a choice between the AMD Ryzen 5 7530U and the Ryzen 7 7730U processors. Both versions come with AMD Radeon Graphics and storage options that include up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Additionally, it runs on Windows 11 Home and incorporates the IceBlade cooling system and a 42WHrs battery that supports fast charging – reaching 60% in just 49 minutes, as per ASUS.
