ASUS launches ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED and Zenbook Pro 15 OLED series of laptops

ASUS has globally launched a whole host of new laptops which include the ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED, ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED, ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED, and ZenBook Pro 15 OLED. 

ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 & ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED 

According to ASUS, these are the world’s first 16-inch OLED panel laptops and the displays push a 4K resolution with HDR support. They’re also PANTONE Vailidated, Calman Verified and offer 100% DCI-P3 colour output. 

The ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 comes in two variants – the W5600 which comes with up to an AMD Ryzen 5900HX CPU, and the W7600, which packs either an Intel Core i7-11800H or an Intel Xeon W-11955M. The former comes also comes with an NVIDIA RTX A2000, while the latter sports a more powerful RTX A5000.  

The ProArt Studiobook 16 is no slouch either as it comes with either a Ryzen 5000 H-series processor, or an Intel Core i9 CPU. For graphics, your options include an RTX 3070 or RTX 3060 – both of which run on NVIDIA’s Studio drivers.  

These laptops come with the new ASUS Dial physical rotary device that lets you interact and control your creative apps. ASUS claims that you get to achieve precise fingertip controls over parameters with the ASUS Dial. A few compatible apps include the Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom Classic, and After Effects.  

ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and ZenBook Pro 15 OLED 

If you need something of a more mainstream size then these laptops are good options – they pack a 15.6-inch OLED panel that pushes up to 4K resolution and supports HDR, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and is PANTONE Validated. The Pro Duo 15 OLED also comes with ASUS’s signature 14-inch ScreenPad Plus which is great for multitasking. 

Under the hood, the Pro Duo 15 OLED packs up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK CPU and up to an RTX 3070 GPU. Meanwhile, the Pro 15 OLED can be equipped with up to a Ryzen 9 5900HX or an Intel Core i7-10750H. For graphics, the former comes with up to an RTX 3070, while the latter comes with up to an RTX 3050 Ti.
