With Intel unveiling their long-awaited Core X-Series and accompanying X299 chipset that supports professional content creation to hardcore gaming, and with the new LGA2066 processors requiring new motherboards, ASUS has delivered with the lineup between the Prime, TUF, and ROG families.
ROG has three models tailored for different priorities, the Rampage VI Extream lives up to its name for machines with custom liquid cooling and ultra-fast networking, the Rampage VI Apex targets peak game performance and record-breaking overclocking and the Strix X299-E provides gamers with powerful tuning, cooling, and personalization to get the most from their rigs. The ROG family will come with dedicated pump headers for powering custom loops, all-in-one coolers and intelligent fan controls for optimal efficiency and quiet acoustics. Sensors on the board will change the behavior of your cooling system based on the workload, including GPU-heavy gaming. The Aura Sync system will synchronize the RGB LED lighting across compatible ROG graphics cards, peripherals, and monitors.
