Asus introduces the FX505 and FX705 to the TUF Gaming family

Asus recently released two new gaming laptops, the SCAR II and Zephyrus S laptops and they seem to come with powerful specs meant for the latest games. Now they have unveiled two more laptops which are again, very decent gaming laptops, the TUF Gaming FX505 and FX705.

Both the laptops are equipped with up to the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor, up to a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphic chip, 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD and 1TB FireCuda SSHD to ensure fast Windows performance and fast game-load times. Both the laptops also come with an FHD IPS-level NanoEdge display with a 144Hz refresh rate which will give you great viewing angles, immersions and tear and blur-free gaming experience.

Asus has put in a lot of effort in the keyboards, to ensure a comfortable typing experience, they gave the keys 1.8mm of key travel and added Asus Overstroke technology to increase the actuation point hight in the stroke which will increase responsiveness. To give it a desktop keyboard-like feel, the keycaps are dished, arrow keys are isolated and defined gaps makes the function keys easier to find. Lastly, it comes with a customizable RGB or red glow that matches the chassis accents.

They have not forgotten about audio, as they added DTS Headphone:X technology that offers different profiles for games, movies, music and sports on both speaker and headphones. For I/O, Asus has included an HDMI, two USB 3.1 Gen 1 and one USB 2.0 ports.

Sadly, they did not mention the release date and pricing for the Malaysian market, but we assume they will announce it in the coming weeks.
