Apple just released the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with all-new A chipset, which brings with it improved performance compared to its predecessors. The A9’s barely become official, and we’re already hearing the first rumors regarding its successor. According to a source in China, the Apple A10 for 2016 devices will be quite special.Cupertino company claim they are seriously focusing on multithreading for the first time since it’s started designing mobile chipsets. This newfound focus may result in the A10 SoC having a hexa-core (6-core) CPU.

Apple only achieves at the most up to three cores maximum, and this is why its chips benchmark poorly in multi-core runs compared to the Android competition. The new A10 will be manufactured on either a 14nm or a 10nm process and it might partner with Samsung. The source of the information is apparently coming from the same person who accurately described the Apple A9 chipset previously.

This is just the rumor, which we cannot confirm all these will be true till Apple announced officially with the new chip by themselves. Then again, we are sure that Apple are developing the new A10 chip and there might be changes occur in the near future.
