Aside from the 10th Generation iPad, Apple has refreshed the iPad Pro lineup with the M2 chip that also powers the current gen MacBook Air.
The M2 chip on the iPad Pro features an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, which delivers up to 15 percent faster CPU performance and 35 percent faster graphics performance, it also has a staggering 100GB/s of unified memory bandwidth and supports up to 16GB of unified memory.
In addition, the M2 chip’s new media engine and image signal processor enable users to capture ProRes video for the first time on an iPad Pro and transcode ProRes footage up to 3x faster.
Furthermore, the new iPad Pro now support faster WiFi 6E wireless connectivity and will ship with iPadOS 16.1 at launch.
While the iPad Pro lineup sports the same ProMotion display sizes at 11-inches and 12.9-inches similar to their predecessors, they now support a new Apple Pencil Hover that can detect the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil from as far as 12mm above the display, which allows users to see a preview of items while offering greater precision.
The iPad Pro will start at RM3,899 and RM5,399 for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch model respectively, they will be offered in storage options of up to 2TB, which will ultimately cost you RM10,149 and RM11,649 for the the 11-inch and 12.9-inch WiFi+Cellular models respectively.
