Apple updates AirPods Pro 2nd Generation with a USB-C charging case

In conjunction with the iPhone 15 launch, Apple has also updated the AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with a USB-C charging case, while boasting improvements such as enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, superior Transparency mode, a more comprehensive Spatial Audio experience. and support for Lossless Audio through Apple Vision Pro.

Adding to its robustness, the earbuds and case have been upgraded with an improved IP54 rating, offering additional dust resistance. This makes the new AirPods Pro suitable for outdoor adventures and harsher environments.

Apple has gone a step further to enhance the audio experience by enabling Lossless Audio with ultra-low latency. This is made possible by the advanced H2 chip in the latest AirPods Pro and Apple Vision Pro, as well as a groundbreaking wireless audio protocol. With these advancements, the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) delivers 20-bit, 48 kHz Lossless Audio, making for an industry-leading wireless audio experience.

The latest AirPods Pro offers an upgraded Spatial Audio experience and double the Active Noise Cancellation capabilities compared to their predecessors. They will also support new audio features like Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness with the upcoming iOS 17.

When Apple Vision Pro becomes available in the U.S. next year, customers can expect even more enhanced audio experiences during entertainment, gaming, and FaceTime calls.

The AirPods Pro (2nd generation) with a MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) will retail for RM1,099 and will be available for order soon via Apple’s official website and in the Apple Store app. The company will also offer EarPods with USB-C for RM99.
