Samsung and Apple’s patent war continues, and we’re really surprised on how Samsung is able to grab Apple’s internal e-mails for the trial, as if those emails were being sent to the whole world. According to 9to5mac, there is an interesting email chain between the late Steve Jobs and various executives discussing about the next generation of Apple TV
If you look at the screenshot above, Steve seems to have name out interesting features for the Apple TV, such as running apps, web browser and a magic wand. While running apps and having a web browser on the Apple TV shouldn’t come as a surprise, the magic wand is the most interesting thing that Apple has ever planned.
You can say its a rip off from Nintendo’s Wii motion controller, and probably similar to Samsung’s SMART TV’s gesture controls, the magic wand is doing thing exactly like it. But sadly, it hasn’t even seen light when Steve Jobs left the world, which we think that could become one of the most revolutionary invention if it had been released with the Apple TV. We hope the email screenshot above will come to reality one day, because the current Apple TV is seriously begging for some cool features.
