While the iPhone X was discontinued after the release of the iPhone Xs and XR models, the smartphone has been reported to have faulty screens, an issue that has been going on for months.
Users have been reporting that their displays are either not responding or responding intermittently when touched, whereas some also reported that the displays react even when untouched, which Apple has admitted that was caused by component failure in the device.
To solve the issue, Apple offers free screen replacement for those who are facing the faulty screen issue and users will need to get their iPhones checked to see if it’s eligible for the screen replacement program.
On the other hand, the 13-inch MacBook Pro also faces some issues that cause data loss and failure in storage drive, though Apple stated that it only affected some of the MacBooks that has 128GB and 256GB SSD. Unlike the iPhone X, users could check for eligibility by keying in their MacBooks’ serial numbers in the form on Apple’s website to know if they can get free repair.
