Apple launches 5th Gen iPad Air powered by Apple M1

Alongside the new iPhone SE, Apple has also introduced the 5th Generation iPad Air that is now powered by the M1 Chip, it features an 8-Core CPU and 8-Core GPU that sports 2X faster graphics performance than its predecessor.

The new iPad Air continues to sport the same 10.9-inch Liquid Retina Display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness, notable upgrades include 5G connectivity, faster USB-C port with 10Gbps transfer speed, and a 12MP ultrawide front camera with Center Stage support.

Otherwise, most of the things on its predecessor remained unchanged, such as Touch ID for biometrics security and a main 12MP camera that takes 4K videos.

iPad Air will be available in storage models of 64GB and 256GB with color options of space grey, starlight, pink, purple, and a new blue color, it will continue to support the existing accessories such as the Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard, Smart Keyboard Folio and Smart Folio covers, prices will start from RM2,699 for the WiFi model and RM3,349 for the WiFi+Cellular model.
