Apple iPhone XR successor tipped to arrive in two new color options

The first CAD-based renders showing the upcoming 2019 iPhone XR had leaked on the web last week. A new report has now surfaced online, claiming that the iPhone XR successor will be available in two new color options.

The report from Japanese tech blog Mac Otakara claims Apple will be introducing two all-new colors for the 2019 iPhone XR. Apple will be replacing the current Coral and Blue options with new Green and Lavender shades.

Mac Otakara suggests the rest of the color options will be retained, which means the 2019 iPhone XR will also be offered in Yellow, Black, White, and (PRODUCT) RED shades. The 2019 iPhone XR is expected to have an Apple A13 chipset under the hood, just like the iPhone XS and XS Max successors. As claimed by a recent report, the A13 is expected to enter mass production this month.

In terms of optics, the 2019 iPhone XR will have a dual-camera setup on the back, instead of the single rear camera on the current model. The second camera on the back of the phone is tipped to offer a broader zoom range. For selfies, all the three upcoming 2019 iPhones are rumored to have a 12MP camera on the front.
