Apple has announced that WWDC 2018 will be held on 4th June

Apple has announced the date of their annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Jose from June 4 to June 8 at The McEnery Convention Center, where the company will share its future products and services.

The event serves as a common ground for developers to share and create new experiences on Apple’s platforms like the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac and even the Home Pod. Other than that, there will also be a range of developer APIs that they will be showing off to build applications for users to make their daily lives easier. The company is also taking a big step to bring up student developers by offering up to 350 WWDC Student Scholarships this year and providing students and STEM organizations the opportunity to earn free tickets to WWDC. We are expected to see some new MacBooks and possibly new and refreshed iPads as well as future developments for the Home Pod, Apple’s Siri enabled smart speaker. The most exciting part of the event will be the unveiling of the iOS 12 which is said to bring some design changes and how we interact with the iPhone.

The event will be live streamed on all Apple produces and their Apple Developer Website. Tickets will be available from now through March 22 via the WWDC website, but tickets will be given out through a random selection process and developers will be notified if they are receiving the tickets on March 23.
